Class Descriptions

Basics

Recommended for those new to TriYoga and for those who want to strengthen their core alignments. It is the foundation for all classes and is also a complete practice in itself. It includes five primary series and 108 postures. Bolsters, pillows and other props are used to ensure alignment and relaxation. This class is also suited for people working with physical limitations.

Level 1

Each level includes five series that gradually progress to teach all the postures of that level. Each level builds upon the previous level. Building upon the asanas (postures) in basics and introducing new ones, Level 1 links these asanas into more detailed yoga flows. The class is divided into four sections:

  • Spring – warming up the body
  • Summer – deeper asanas and stronger flows
  • Fall – flows continue with more sustained asanas
  • Winter – stretching and releasing the body for relaxation and meditation

Class Guidelines

  • Please arrive early to allow time to set up so that class can begin at the designated time.
  • Classes are either an 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes (see class schedule above)
  • Wear comfortable clothing; leave shoes in entry
